Jordan 65TW HF / Super Jordan 68TW HF [tailwalk limited color]

"2025: Designed to attract even more fish..."
The fourth collaboration between HMKL and tailwalk introduces the Jordan & Super Jordan High-Float models.

The fourth collaboration of the HMKL X tailwalk debuts in 2025!

Two years have passed since the release of the highly acclaimed tailwalk original color versions of the Jordan & Super Jordan, favored by anglers tackling tough fields across Japan. Now, introducing the tailwalk-exclusive high-float models: Jordan 65TWHF and Super Jordan 68TWHF.

These models feature secret tuning and color schemes by Masahiko Nakamura, a three-time series champion of the Ashinoko Tournament.

In clear lakes, it’s common to see fish reject lures at the last second. Nakamura envisioned a lure to catch the hesitant big ones he observed in his home lake, Lake Ashinoko, as they cautiously examined lures from below. He also desired a lure that would gently sway and hover even in the slightest breeze. With this in mind, HMKL’s Izumi began development.

By focusing on a "more surface-oriented, more horizontal floating posture," the weight and materials of the Jordan and Super Jordan were meticulously adjusted through repeated fine-tuning. The aim was to leverage the water's surface to blur the lure's silhouette and create the appearance of a weakened baitfish shimmering even in faint ripples.

The original Jordan, with its tall body, produces more shimmer from minimal surface movement. Gentle twitches and small shakes cause the body to sway and lure fish. Upon landing on the water, the lure pops up with a distinct "plop," creating ripples with its back to attract fish. Twitches and single jerks make it slide just below the surface without diving, simulating an escaping baitfish.

The Super Jordan 68HF, with its slim body, reduces air resistance for long casts. Its slender profile and dual-hook setup improve hook-up rates, especially for nibbling bites. This lure is highly effective during sudden water temperature drops, when fish slow down, or when hesitant fish have grown accustomed to I-shaped lures and avoid hooks.

COMMENT

COLOR

  • N-SECRET II

A translucent, matte expansion color with reduced glare. Featuring a shell plate, olive-colored back, and purple line to replicate the look of wakasagi (Japanese smelt).
